Adopt a Caregiver
We hope that YOU join our Caregivers support program. They pay it forward every day as the guardian angles of someone's family member. We see their needs and through donations we embark on a journey of enrichment for the greater good of so many. Life is always personal. Let's help together. We accept gently used items (furniture pieces, washers and dryers, silverware, towels, cleaning supplies to clothing and bedding - anything that would help a family start a life). We accept and distribute gift cards. We welcome you to also adopt a Caregiver from a list of equal opportunity based monthly suggestions.
First & Last Club
The First and Last Club's sole dedication is to help secure a first and last deposit for those caregivers' families trying to make the critical move from temporary housing to renting a private residence. It provides vital support to a caregiver who is struggling with making a living on paycheck to paycheck basis.
Please support our cause, it is our privilege to have an opportunity to bring people in need together for a safer and clearer future.
Christmas Wish
The holiday season is a time to spread hope and love. A few years ago a talented caregiver in her early 30’s, mentioned she had never, in her entire life, received a Christmas gift. Her comment led us to discover that several of our caregivers, so experienced in giving, had very little experience in receiving. Many of them, after taking care of their families needs, had little remaining with which to celebrate Christmas.
I shared this discovery with my dear friend and gifted realtor, Kim Sutton Adair of the KSA Team. She recognized the need for our caregivers and she sprang to action. She volunteered her company and her “people” to sponsor what we now call CHRISTMAS WISH.
Syliva’s Attic collected the wishes and dreams of our caregivers and their families, and Kim and her amazing colleagues “adopted” families and solicited/contributed gift cards to provide Christmas cheer and Christmas dinner.
To date, we have served Christmas to 242 caregivers and their families. The need is ever
